This past weekend we enjoyed a couple of beautiful opportunities to share with others the joy of our monastic life. On Saturday evening I joined the middle school girls at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic parish in Albion, Pennsylvania, for part of their retreat weekend. I shared my vocation story with them and answered their questions about monastic life. I enjoyed spending some time with these beautiful, energetic girls! (I was invited to speak after randomly meeting their youth group leader at the March for Life a few weeks ago!)

"I'm a nun! I'm a nun!" |
On Sunday we attended Divine Liturgy at St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine Catholic parish in Fairview Park, Ohio. We showed our
video to parishioners after the Liturgy and then stopped in to each of the classes and spoke to the adults, high school and middle school students and the younger children. We enjoyed playing our "Myth Busters: Vocation Edition" game with the high school and middle school students, and another highlight was dressing up one of the young girls as a nun as we talked to the kids about why we wear a habit! Thanks for the invitation Deacon Dan!
